Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. I have really loved the festive lights all around London. This month favourites is a bit of a mix bag including fashion, books and more! So I hope you enjoy.
This is one of the most beautiful bags I have ever seen. It was only £8 for Primark, can you believe it!! It is the perfect size for dashing out with your essentials and adds glamour a touch of glamour to any outfit.
Glitter Timberland Boots
Now, I know these are probably garish for most people but I love them! It’s the perfect way to add festive sparkle to an outfit. Also the glitter adds a feminine twist to an otherwise masculine shoe.
Chasing Daisy by Paige Toon
I was pleasant surprised by this book as I don’t often like romantic books as they are often predictable. However I have heard a lot about Paige Toon and have never read one of her books. So when I saw her book in Barter Books (an incredible second hand book shops) I thought I would buy it and give it ago. I was instantly gripped as this story was fast moving with unexpected turns and twists. It completely changed my view on romantic books and I can’t wait to read more. Do you have a favourite Paige Toon book?
Christmas at Little Beach Street Bakery by Jenny Colgan
I don’t have a photo of this book as it reminded me of my Cornish friend who loves baking so I just had to give it to her! This book is the perfect festive read based on family, friendship and the twists of life of a woman who owns a bakery in Cornwall.
Pocket Book Shop
This month I discovered the Pocket Book Shop in Hammersmith and later on at Liverpool Street station. Both shops stock the perfect number of books (which is enough to explore through but not so much that is over whelming). In both stores the customer service is brilliant. With every book you buy you get a free bookmark and once you buy 8 books (with a stamped card) you get a free book, Now who doesn’t want that!! I cant wait to go back.
Soap and Glory Peach and Clean Deep Cleansing Milk
As those of you who read my Low Maintenance Girl Skincare Routine will know I used to use coconut oil to remove my make up . I was given the Soap and Glory tin gift set which included this cleanser so I thought I would give it ago. I love the peachy scent, it removes my make up effortlessly and leaves my skin feeling silky soft.
No 7 Sonic Brush
My old No 7 brush broke 🙁 so my partner treated me to the new one. I love it. I use it every morning and it leaves my skin feeling silky soft.
Bubble Baths and Bathbombs
There is nothing better than a bubble bath to wind down after a long day at work. I am loving these Christmas bathbombs from Wilkos. They smell of sweet apple and turns your bath green with glitter. We all know glitter makes everything better!
I hope you enjoyed reading my favourites and I have given you some inspiration for some new products to try. What have you loved this month?
