How to get over New Job Nerves.

Hello and Welcome Back! I’m back! I took a short break from blogging last week. As I started a new job (yay!). So far I’m really enjoying it. There is so much to learn and so much to do. Before I started, I was really nervous. Which I’m sure we have all experienced when starting a new job. So today I’m sharing with you how I got over my new job nerves. Hopefully my tips will help you!

Remember you were hired for a reason. So trust in your skill and ability.

Fake it until you make it! Even if you feel nervous go in with a smile, your head held high and a cheery hello. Make the effort to chat to everyone and get to know them. People like people who show an interest in them.

Give yourself at least a week to adjust. To help ease the process give yourself as little to do outside of work. For example I stopped blogging for the week and planned easy meals.

Ask as many questions as you can. The more you know the less there is to be nervous about.

Your colleagues and manager, obviously know you are new so won’t expect miracles on your first day. So don’t put too much pressure on yourself.
