How to have a Pamper Evening on a Budget

Hello and Welcome Back! We all know how important is to take break and unwind. However, we are all guilty (including me!) of not taking time out to relax.

One way I force myself to relax is to have a pamper evening. I find a pamper evening the perfect way to relax at the end of the day whilst at the same time freshening yourself up for the next day.

I have become an expert on having pamper evenings on a budget so I thought I would share my tips with you.

I always start with a bath. I know baths are a love hate thing. For me it is definitely love! I find being in the water so calming.

Now, lots of us, including me, love, a Lush baths but they are expensive! So I only use them on a special occasion. Otherwise, I use bath bombs from Wilkos and Soap & Glory. I also like to use bubble bath such as the Sanex Atopicare Bath and Shower Oil which not only creates bubbles but also nourishes the skin. If I’m feeling extra fancy I will also light a candle or two.

Before I hop in the bath I apply a hair and face mask. For those of you who don’t know, a hair mask is basically a deep conditioner for your hair. I slather my hair in hair mask before tying it into a bun. I then apply a face mask. At the moment I am loving the DermaV10 Red Algae clay masks and The Body Shop British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask. I have reviewed the DermaV10 masks on my blog here.

I then get in the bath and relax. Now, I can’t sit doing nothing so to trick my mind into relaxing I read. I then wash out my hair and face mask before getting out of the bath.

I then put on a clean set of pyjamas and fluffy socks. Side note: Isn’t that one of the best feeling ever? I then moisturise my face using the No7 HydraLuminous Gel Overnight Recovery Cream. If I have used a detox mask I also use the No7 HydraLuminous Serum for an hydration boost. I recently reviewed both products which you can check out here.

Colours from left to right: Copper Mine, Holographic Rocket, Holographic Flare, Celestial Silver, Pink Luxe and Holographic Lights.

To finish off the evening I will watch a Netflix Show. I recently watched Amy Pohler’s Growing and laughed so much! So I would highly recommend. Whilst watching Netflix, I might have some cheeky chocolate (how can I not with Easter Eggs everywhere!?) and paint my nails. I love the BarryM Molten Metals Range. They look stunning and are long lasting.

So there is my advice on how to have a pamper evening on a budget. What advice do you have? We all need to relax so let’s help eachother out.
