It’s time for another Empties post! I know it is such a cliche but seriously where has this month gone! I love writing these posts as a feel I can give a better review when I have fully used a product. Keep reading to find out what my September Empties are and what I thought of each product.
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
A beauty blogger classic and with good reason! As those of you who saw my Low Maintenance Girls Make Up routine will know I use this concealer every time I wear makeup. You can also tell from the state of the packaging that it is well loved! This concealer as it creamy allowing it to blend easily with high coverage. It is also one of the few concealers that suits my skin (I used the shade fair) as it has a pinky undertone compared to a yellow undertone which I often see in the market. All that and it is as cheap as chips at £4.19 from Superdrug. I always repurchase this before I run out as I would hate to be without it.
Treacle Moon Marsh Mallow Hearts Hand Cream
A while ago my hands started peeling like a snake. Gross, I know! So I grabbed a hand cream on my way to work and as this one was on sale I thought I would give it a go. I am a sucker for a bargain. Firstly it smells Devine! Like marshmallows (what a surprise!) but without being too sweet. It also cured by snake hands immediately and sank into the skin effortlessly! I would highly recommend it.
Beanies Flavour Coffee Irish Instant Coffee
Now I do love an Irish coffee after a meal out but you can’t have alcohol every day! I have found these Beanies Irish coffee to be a great substitute. It has a subtle Irish flavour which tastes delightful! I also find I don’t have to add sweetener to this coffee which is even better. I can’t wait to buy this coffee again and try other flavours including Chocolate Orange and Cinamon Hazelnut.
Soap & Glory What A Peeling! Purifying De-Clog Mask
I brought this soap and glory face masks on a whim. I had used their sheet mask called Bright and Beautiful Radiance Boosting and which left my skin instantly glowing. So I had high hopes for this mask. This mask claims to remove dirt and impurities. I adored that this mask was bright pink! It applied easily onto the skin though I would recommend lying down to let it dry for the first couple of minutes otherwise you can feel it running down your face. I always worry with peel-off masks are going to tug at my skin but this one didn’t. It peeled off effortlessly. After I was amazed by the difference in my skin which before looked dull and tired but now looked refreshed and full of life. At £4 for 2 face masks from Boots, it is also a great budget option.
Those of you who saw my Low Maintenance Girls Haircare routine will know I use T gel everytime I wash my hair to soothe my scalp. I’ve have tried many scalp treatment shampoos but this is the only one I found that actually works! The smell isn’t overpowering and it doesn’t creating a burning sensation my scalp as some anti-dandruff shampoos do. I always panic when I am running low on this shampoo and can honestly say it is one of my holy grail products.
So that’s it for my September Empties! Have you tried any of the products on this list?
