Hello and Welcome Back! Today I’m going to be sharing with you my skincare superheros. Skincare is something I’m really passionate about. I enjoy taking care of my skin. For me its a few moments a day just to be quiet and pamper myself. I’m also fascinated by ingredients in skincare and how they impact your skin.
My skincare superheros includes some everyday products as well as some treatments. I also think it’s worth mentioning my skin is oily to normal so bare that in mind when considering the products for yourself. Lets get started!
The Body Shop Drops of Light Pure Resurfacing Liquid Peel (£18)
This product is a game changer for your skin. Especially if you suffer from blemish scaring like I do! This formula deeply cleanses and exfoliates your skin so only use it once or twice a week. The Body Shop Drops of Light starts as a gel but as you rub it into your skin all the muck and your dead skin cells clump together. Attractive in know! The formula also included red algae and vitamin C to brighten. After your skin is left renewed and silky soft.
No7 Early Defence Glow Activating Serum £25
I have been using this serum consistently morning and night for almost five months now. I have noticed a dramatic improvement in my skin. Thanks to the salicylic acid in the serum my breakouts are significantly less frequent and less inflamed when they do happen. This serum also contains Retinyl Palimitate which helps supports skin renewal process. Leaving your skin glowing! I recently included this product in my June Favourites.
No7 Youth Replenishing Oil (£23)
It is a common misconception that oily skin doesn’t need hydrating but often oily skin is dehydrated so your skin is over compensating. I find adding oil into my skincare routine has helped to improve the texture of my skin leaving it plump and firm. The main ingredients is jojoba oil which is similar to yours skins natural sebum so it doesn’t clog your pores.
Beauty Formulas On the Spot Treatment (£1)
This product is a hidden gems! I use this when I have a breakout. Especially those painful under the surface spots I apply this straight onto the breakout and it helps to clear it quickly thanks to the salicylic acid, witch hazel and peppermint oil.
No7 Laboratories Dark Circle Corrector £28
To be honest I really struggle to consistently use an eye cream as I often find they don’t do anything. However this one I use everyday and love. It has Caffeine to depict the eye, Vitamin C and Algae to brighten and Hyaluronic acid for hydration. Together these ingredients work to banish dark circles. Now who doesn’t want that!?
No7 Cleansing Brush (£30)
I have been using a facial brush as part of my morning skincare routine for almost 2 years. I can’t see myself ever not using one to be honest! It allows me to work the cleanser into my skin, exfoliate and increase blood flow to the face. Leaving my skin feeling fresh and look radiant.
The Body Shop Seaweed Oil-Balancing Clay Mask (£11)
This mask is my emergency treatment for breakouts and excess oily skin. It pulls out toxins and excess oil helping to prevent and clear up breakouts. I prefer to use this mask as part of a multi mask. Using this mask on my T-zone and chin and another more brightening masks on my cheeks.
DermaV10 Clay Mask with Red Algae (£4.75)
This is the face mask I use when I really want to pamper myself! This mask brightens the skin for an instant glow. This mask has red algae to brighten and honey and vitamin E to soothe.
