UK Tour: Leeds

Hello and Welcome Back! It’s time for day four of my UK tour. If your new to my blog a couple of weeks ago I went on a tour of the UK. I have already shared my time to Newcastle, Edinburgh and York. Today I’m sharing with you what I discovered in Leeds.

I arrived late afternoon and walked around the Victoria Quarter which first formed in the 1900’s. All the buildings were beautiful. Some of them clearly have a lot of history to them and some others made me feel poor as I walked through them in awe.

There was also dinosaur there! It moved when you went near it and was very realistic.

I also visited the Kirkgate Market. It seems you can buy everything there from fish to wigs!! Before heading back to my hotel for a chilled evening and an early night.

The next morning I went on the hunt for breakfast and discovered Laynes Espresso. I had the most incredible Strawberry Cheesecake Flavour Pancakes. They were delicious! I apologise now if the photo makes you hungry. It’s making me hungry now just looking at it!

I then walked around the famous Corn Exchange, which first opened in 1864. It is full of cute independent little shops, mostly selling cute clothes, gifts and cards. A must see if you ever visit Leeds.

So that was it for my time in Leeds. It was a short and sweet trip. What should I do when I got to Leeds next time?
